Summer Music Online

Summer Music 2020 is going VIRTUAL! Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are as committed as ever to providing you with the highest-quality Summer Music experience. Register online to secure your spot.

The virtual Summer Music program includes four private lessons per session, master classes with First Associate Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Nathan Cole, performance classes, music appreciation classes, and yoga and movement classes via Zoom. Students will also have the opportunity to join supplemental online activities such as chamber music rehearsals and ensembles, at no additional fee.

Summer Music Online is a two-week summer program for students entering grades 3-12; however, younger students may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Students of any wind, string, or brass instruments, or piano are welcome to enroll. Explore the drop-down menus below to discover the details!

Please note that on Fridays, we will switch up this daily schedule with additional fun activities including acting/improv and a Master Class Series with First Associate Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Nathan Cole.

The tuition for Summer Music Online is $1000.

Limited need-based financial aid is available for summer programs. To apply please complete the application prior to your audition date. Application and complete information can be found on the Financial Aid page.

Regardless of whether you are enrolled in Summer Music Online, submit a video audition and be considered for the opportunity to play for Nathan Cole. Your audition fee also allows you to attend all master classes. Alternatively, sign up to attend any of the four master classes as an observer. The deadline to audition or sign up is Friday, July 3rd, 2020. We hope you will join us for this special master class series!
