New Location! Upcoming Concert

Winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, guest violinist Stefan Jackiw joins RSC’s Camerata Strings for a free concert in Rivera Hall. Under the dynamic leadership of conductor Marta Zurad, this cutting-edge ensemble will present a program of string masterpieces.

Dear RSC Friends,

The Camerata Strings concert on Thursday, April 9, has been RELOCATED to Rivera Recital Hall at The Rivers School. Unfortunately, there was a leak over the weekend at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport. Although they are working quickly to mitigate the situation, the venue will be closed for a few days. But as they say, the show must go on!

While this is a very unfortunate development, the good news is that this concert will still take place here on campus with guest soloist Stefan Jackiw.

WHAT: Camerata Strings with Stefan Jackiw
WHEN: Thursday, April 9, 7:00 p.m.*
* Please note: due to the venue change, there will no longer be a reception before the concert.
WHERE: New Location! Rivera Recital Hall, The Rivers School

We expect that Rivera Hall will be at full capacity for this performance, so we will plan on providing a livestream of the concert:

Stream the concert live tonight on Youtube.

Stream the concert live tonight on Facebook.

We will also provide an overflow viewing space where the livestream will be projected onto the screen in Bradley Hall Room 300, once Rivera Hall is at full capacity. If you have any questions, please reach out to music@rivers.org.
