Suzuki Violin
Yerim’s journey from South Korea to the United States, guided by her early exposure to the Suzuki method, shaped her passion for music education and performance. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt University, before furthering her studies at Baylor University, where she earned her Master of Music degree and gained recognition for her excellence, including election into the Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honor Society.
With a strong commitment to teaching, Yerim established a successful private studio in Chicago, mentoring aspiring musicians of all ages. During her time at Baylor, she expanded her teaching repertoire, instructing both young students in the Midway Independent School District and adults over 50 in private settings.
After completing her Master’s degree, Yerim joined the Suzuki Academy of Waco as a chamber and group class coach, where she continues to inspire and guide the next generation of musicians. Her dedication to musical excellence and teaching leaves a lasting impact on the music community.
