Composition
Stephen Halloran earned his BM from the Eastman School of Music and his MM and DMA from Boston University. He studied composition with Samuel Adler, Joseph Schwanter, Lukas Foss and Stephen Albert. Halloran’s awards include the Goddard Lieberson Fellowship, multiple ASCAP grants, the Renee B. Fisher Award for The Galilee Hitchhiker for piano, and the Princess Grace Award for the film score for Poet. Halloran also teaches theory courses at Boston University and Tanglewood.
