Voice
Soprano Junko Watanabe has performed widely in operas, oratorios, and recitals. She has been featured as a soloist with the Boston Lyric Opera, Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, Boston Classical Orchestra, Masterworks Choral, and New England Bach Festival, and she was a participant in the Marlboro Music Festival where she performed with Ken Noda, Martin Isepp and Richard Goode. She holds a Master’s degree from Osaka College of Music, and an Opera Performance diploma and Master of Music from the Longy School of Music. Currently she is on the voice faculty of the Rivers School Conservatory, Brattleboro Music Center, and Amherst College.
