How to Apply

Beginner Musician

Private Lessons

The Rivers School Conservatory has an open enrollment policy, accepting students throughout the year if space is available. Private lessons are available for students and adults of any age and ability. Students younger than five may benefit from starting in programs designed especially for younger students.

  1. After receiving your application, a member of the RSC faculty or staff will reach out regarding scheduling a placement interview within the appropriate department.
  2. These informative and informal meetings will help us better meet the musical needs and style of learning of each student. If your child has already begun musical studies, please have them bring their instrument and a short piece of their choosing.
  3. After the placement interview, we will match the student with an appropriate teacher based on schedule and learning style.

The RSC Registrar (rscregistrar@rivers.org) will send you a contract to confirm your enrollment in private lessons, as well as information on how to create your billing account.
