Students will learn the basics of playing classical guitar, including all of the notes in first position, rest stroke, free stroke, basic chords and chord progressions, and ensemble music. The curriculum will also cover note reading and foundational music theory concepts. Registration is open to anyone with little to no guitar experience.
The Fall 2023 group class meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The first Fall 2023 class begins on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
