Violin
Jenae is an active member of the American String Teachers Association and regularly attends pedagogical conferences such as the Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies at the Juilliard School in NYC, and the ASTA National Conferences. She has a thorough understanding of pedagogy and a true passion for teaching students of all ages and abilities. Jenae’s students participate in concerto competitions and are members of the New England Conservatory Preparatory School orchestras, the Rivers School Conservatory orchestras and ensembles and the Clafflin Hill Youth Symphony.
Jenae is a violinist in the Boston Amaryllis Quartet, the Cape Ann Symphony, the Rivers Symphony, Freisinger Chamber Orchestra and performs regularly with other orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the Boston area.
Jenae won scholarships to study at the Longy School of Music, completing her Master of Music degree in Violin Performance with Emphasis in String Pedagogy with Professor Mark Lakirovich, and earned her Undergraduate Diploma in Violin Performance with Professor Janet Packer. In addition to her musical studies, Jenae completed her Bachelor’s of Music Degree from Emerson College.
Jenae is on the violin and chamber music faculty at the Rivers Conservatory, the violin and chamber music faculty at the Brimmer and May School and maintains a private studio.
