Rivers Youth Orchestras (RYO)
RYO boasts five orchestras for students ages 7-18. Each ensemble performs three concerts a year. Rehearsals take place on Fridays after school throughout the academic year.
Rivers Youth Wind Ensembles (RYWE)
RYWE comprises two wind ensembles for students in grades 5-12. Each ensemble performs two concerts a year. Rehearsals take place on Mondays after school throughout the academic year.
Camerata Strings
Every voice counts in this high-energy, advanced, all-string ensemble. Camerata Strings performs 2-3 concerts per year and rehearses on Thursday evenings.
Studio Chamber Music
For students (typically ages 8+) interested in gaining chamber music experience. Students are carefully matched in terms of playing level, age, experience, and temperament, and receive one hour of coaching each week with an experienced RSC faculty member.
ChamberMusicLab
ChamberMusicLab is an intensive full-scholarship program for very advanced high school students open by audition. ChamberMusicLab meets Saturday mornings.
Jazz Ensembles
RSC offers multiple jazz ensembles to accommodate adults and children of any ability. All rehearsals take place after school during the week or on Saturdays.
Marimba Ensembles
The Marimba Magic Musicianship program offers musical training to students as they play marimbas and drums in a group.
Rivers Symphony Orchestra (RSO)
RSO is a full symphonic orchestra comprised of talented adult musicians in the community. RSO performs three concerts per year.
